All accompaniment, melody lines, power point files and more are available in our downloadable "Liturgy for Earthkeeping-Leader Edition".
For your convenience we have included four versions of the Liturgy for Earthkeeping. First, there is a ready-to-print (8 ½” x 14”) pdf of the service. This version has no specific scripture readings printed in it so that the same booklet can be re-used multiple times. Our belief is that care for creation is integral to the life of faith, not something that happens once a year. While this worship order may fit nicely with, for example, Earth Day or Blessing of the Animals, we hope that you find many opportunities to use this resource to strengthen ties between sustainability, liturgy, spiritual formation and joyful stewardship. Second & Third respectively, there are Microsoft Word & Mac Pages documents that may be edited before printing to adapt the service to your particular setting. For example, your congregation may wish to print words to the Lord’s Prayer in the bulletin. Or perhaps you wish to include a Lamb of God for a communion service. These documents offers such flexibility. The supplemental resources folder contains several additional songs. These songs are listed below with a suggestion of at least one place they will fit into an adapted service. You can pull lyrics to add to the word file for many of the songs from the Dakota Road website. Finally, a copy of the service is included in a Microsoft Publisher file for those who layout bulletins in this format.
